YardGuild vs Booqable

In the US, Booqable's USD pricing is the apples-to-apples baseline. We win on bundled SMS, automatic deposit handling, and ESIGN/UETA-compliant waiver templates — same currency, fewer add-ons.

Who Booqable is

Dutch-built rental SaaS, 8,000+ customers globally, with strong US uptake. USD-native (their home pricing). Excellent product design.

When Booqable is the right pick

Solo US operators with one location, fine adding Zapier + Twilio for SMS, no need for bundled deposit automation.

When you'll probably prefer YardGuild

Multi-location US rentals, anyone wanting SMS reminders included, anyone who'd rather skip the Zapier + Twilio + Stripe-for-deposits stitching exercise.

The real cost math

Headline pricing is misleading when the headline doesn't include what you actually need. Here's what a 3-yard operator with two staff actually pays.

Questions you might be asking

What's actually different vs Booqable for a US rental?
Three things. (1) Deposits — Booqable expects you to wire up Stripe, ask the customer for a card, manually hold and release. We auto-authorize through PayPal at checkout, void on clean return, capture on damage. (2) SMS — included vs Zapier/Twilio. (3) Waivers — our template is ESIGN + UETA compliant out of the box and renters sign on a tablet kiosk at pickup; Booqable expects you to bring your own.
PayPal vs Stripe for deposits — that matters in the US.
Most US small rentals use both. Booqable's Stripe integration is fine if your customers expect Stripe. We chose PayPal for the bond hold because the auth/capture/void flow is honest and the renter can dispute or confirm via their PayPal account. Both work. If you're 100% Stripe-loyal, that's a fair reason to stay on Booqable.

Try it on your own yard for 30 days

No credit card. Import your assets via CSV, run a few contracts, see if the kiosk and the mobile check-in actually save the time we say they do.
