- Three things. (1) Deposits — Booqable's deposit field is a single number with no audit trail. We give you a structured record on every contract: payment method (cash, card terminal, your own Stripe/PayPal/Square), reference number, ID sighted, evidence photos, and a released/captured/partial-captured state. The money flow stays with whichever processor you use — we just keep the records straight. (2) SMS — included vs Zapier/Twilio. (3) Waivers — our template is ESIGN + UETA compliant out of the box and renters sign on a tablet kiosk at pickup; Booqable expects you to bring your own.
- Do you take renter payments through PayPal or Stripe?
- Neither — we don't touch renter payments at all. You collect rentals and deposits however your shop already does (cash, card terminal, Square, your own PayPal Business or Stripe). YardGuild logs what was taken, by what method, with what reference, and any ID/photos. The only place PayPal shows up in our system is your monthly YardGuild subscription billing.
